This playbook explores various tips on how to make SEL work effectively for students in any grade and for any subject.
Educators know how challenging it is to ensure students have the skills and tools to achieve lifelong success. That’s especially true in today’s complex world. Beyond academic abilities, students need social and emotional skills to navigate the opportunities and disappointments that come their way.

That’s where social and emotional learning (SEL) curriculum is essential. Numerous studies confirm that SEL increases academic achievement and improves social behaviors in K-12 students. Eighty-three percent of educators surveyed say SEL positively impacts student academic outcomes, while 84% said teaching SEL helps students collaborate, communicate, be creative and think critically.
